The Bottom Line: HIGHLY recommended as a karaoke player; will serve you well in that regard. NOT recommended as a DVD player; be sure to have a backup DVD player.

Review: I gave it 2 thumbs up till 6 months later... the thing wont show up on my screen- I tried 3 tvs-did everything you can imagine-thing just blacked out one day.Hooked up correctly. makes a nice cd player.
