Shoulda spent $9 on a cheapie, not fully compatible.

Pros: Turns TV on and off and changes channel.

Cons: Not so universal even if Product is listed.

The Bottom Line: May work fine with RCA model tv's but I was seriuosly disapointed with the Universility of this product. Expected more from RCA.

The following applies to the compatibility with a Panasonic TV model CT31G10T and Teac audio/Home theater reciever.

Will not change input medium, Return Channel button will not work, Will not work at all with Teac AGV-3020 Stero/Home theater reciever. Code search feature did not work with reciever. Instructions say it may take 200 tries at code search but shuts down process for audio search after only a few tried without finding the Teac code needed.

I would have spent less money if I knew that all I could do with this product was change channels on my TV.

Platinum series needs some serious revisions in it's compatibility lists.
