Tried twice - both didn't work.

I bought this at one local retailer. The "quick start" instructions said to set the time zone and daylight savings time buttons before it's plugged in and it would set itself. It didn't. The display read 0:08. When I tried to change the numbers, they initially moved and went up to 40-something and then stopped. I returned it, and went to a different large retailer because it was cheaper. Took that one home, and it ALSO didn't work. This one said 0:10 and the numbers would not move at all. Plus, the second one didn't have the mp3 player hook-up in the box (the first one did, so the quality control is obviously flawed. I figured that the first clock was just a fluke, and thought I'd just get a different one and all would be fine. HOWEVER, when the second one didn't work either, I came to the conclusion that this product is an absolute piece of junk.
