Don't bother, I hate this phone

I paid Office Max $179 for this phone thinking it would be a good quality. The radio signal with my headset almost made me nuts. I upgraded my headset until I learned it was this RCA phone. All I wanted was the headset button to work but no luck, the 2.5 mm., headset jack was a joke, my Plantronics headset needed more and RCA just can't deliver.

I have one phone line for a small office and the dial tone came in on line "3" for some unknown reason. That bothers me, I would like it on line "1" - seems logical.

Caller ID never showed up either. I have it and call waiting caller ID on my phone line but never saw either. I didn't get into solving this issue because the radio station noise was just too much - I live next to a creek and they don't put radio towers down low - they put them up high on hills for broadcast ease - both my headset tech and I could clearly hear the sports - wrestling broadcast.. This is unacceptable in a business phone.

I have spent hours and hours on the internet and with my Plantronics technical support person trying to work the kinks out. I loved the style but the thing has to do the job....Looser.... it goes back to Office Max tomorrow.
