Nice features, poor quality

I've used this phone for 2 months in my home office. I was delighted to find a phone with all the features I was looking for at more than reasonable price. It was just a no-brainer.

In the past 2 weeks a couple of issues popped up which made me return the phone yesterday. The first was I could hear a faint radio signal in the background (typical in GE phones). Totally unacceptable for an office phone. Actually for any phone whatsoever. The second and most important: people could hear me when I pressed mute!!! Using the headset, the mute button was useless. And even on speakerphone, occasionally people could hear me. It reached a point where during a conference call I sneezed (while on mute) and someone said "bless you". I could not believe it!!! I wonder what other things people heard me say... This phone is a Panasonic wannabe. Nice try, but definitely NOT WORTH IT.
