Pros: Good features and they all work well; battery backup; good sound quality
Cons: Physically larger than I would prefer; cannot choose which line is primary
Review: Perhaps RCA/Thompson quality control is variable and I got a good one, or perhaps they have made improvements since the previous, unhappy reviews you'll read here. But my two-week-old unit has been great. All features work well, including the mute when ...

Pros: superb speaker phone, 16 programmable dialing buttons, headset jack
Cons: Loud beeps with push buttons, hard to read text on faceplate
Review: I bought this phone for its 16 programmable dialing push buttons. The speaker phone is superb. The sound quality is so good that people think I'm using the handset. The same quality comes through on good sized speaker. I seldom use the handset because ...

Cons: Quality (not suited for home office)
Mute (NOT!)
RCA
Review: I've used this phone for 2 months in my home office. I was delighted to find a phone with all the features I was looking for at more than reasonable price. It was just a no-brainer. In the past 2 weeks a couple of issues popped up which made me return ...

Pros: Nice style - clean look
Cons: Doesn't work - radio signal = death knell
The Bottom Line: Don;t buy it. It doesn't work
Review: I paid Office Max $179 for this phone thinking it would be a good quality. The radio signal with my headset almost made me nuts. I upgraded my headset until I learned it was this RCA phone. All I wanted was the headset button to work but no luck, the ...

Pros: Sleek design, neatly layed out features.
Cons: Just pick-up any line and join the coversation...
The Bottom Line: Bad phone for business, will interfare with your busy phones, when your coworker (or customer) will accidently pick up your line and say hello! hello!
Review: I just purchased 5 of the 25403 GE-RCA Phones, and I tried getting customer service on the following issue: When anyone is on any line, you can just pick it up and listen in, is this normal? I just put down the phone with your customer service, and ...

Pros: Good features advertised, good price after rebate, clear transmission through corded handset
Cons: Dismal speakerphone and headset electronics, poor web-based interface to customer support
The Bottom Line: While handset-only use may be acceptable, I'm not recommending this for anyone wishing to use the speakerphone or headset.
Review: I was looking for a 2-line phone that had a good speakerphone and would let me use a headset. Although RCA is far from the electronics powerhouse it used to be, I was cautiously optimistic when I found this 2-line office phone with a decent price ...

Pros: speakerphone (when not typing)
Cons: headset DOES NOT work. mute is not full mute.
The Bottom Line: Don't buy it you will only end up returning it.
Review: This is the first time I've ever written a negative review, so don't take this lightly. I paid close to $200 for this piece of junk at OfficeMaxx. I couldn't really afford it but I needed it to WORK from my home. I bought it, specifically, because I ...

Pros: Couldn't tell. Expensive paper weight
Cons: useless
Review: Didn't even work out of the box. Sad statement for the most basic technology in the world of phones. If they couldn't get it to work out of the box, I wasn't about to try finding one that did only to have it break in the near ...
