Author's Review

Quake 2 has finally been released for the N64 after numerous delays. This game should be part of any 1rst person shooter games.

The story is you are a space marine who has just crash-landed on a hostile alien world. Your task is to complete mission objectives and survive the horror. You are armed with some serious firepower like shotguns, rocket launchers, and more through 19 levels. If you are a fan of doom or wolfenstein 3d you should know what to expect in this game.

The best part of this game is the multiplayer modes. There is a total of 12 levels to wreak havoc in and it supports up to 4 players. . If you don’t have one now is a good time to get one. Killing 1 friend is ok but when you get to kill 3 it makes the experience better. Quake 2 has decent graphics but they look old. They are very pixelated and blocky. The sound effects are excellent and the metal tunes are good.

If you’re a fan of Quake or want a good shooter I recommend this game.
