Did not work; could not get refund

Although I am a relatively experienced computer user, I
could not successfully install this device on my
computer, a Toshiba Satellite laptop running Windows XP
SP2. The end result was an error message: device cannot
start (code 10). Then if I removed and reinserted the
device my system froze. Unfortunately the buy.com fine
print meant I had to go to the makers of the device for
a refund or replacement. DPS (the makers) refuse to
give a refund and have an onerous policy about
returning the device for repair or replacement (if they decide there's
actually nothing wrong with the device they think they
can charge me another $35 for coming to that
determination!). In short, avoid this product and
company at all costs.
