Author's Review
I have noticed that no one decided not to write about the movie Purgatory, so I shall be the first and do my best to try to convince you to watch this movie.
Purgatory is a modern day western with a twist. The title gives it away, at first I did not know what it meant, but in religious context, it is a place in between heaven or hell where your fate is decided.
I am not really into western movies, but this one caught my attention and in the end I really enjoyed the movie I selected to watch.
It is about a group of famous outlaws, like Jesse James, stuck in a place between heaven and hell. They have to prove themselves, follow certain laws, like no drinking, no swearing, no guns, have to go the church, nothing of the sort. Very tough rules. If they violate any of these rules they go straight to hell.
A group of outlaws, living still, find themselves in these town, which they plan to rob. Nothing is there for them that is really useful and they do not understand why. Why there are no guns, no jail, no nothing.
The ending is the best part of the movie and I can not give that away. You would have to watch and see.
If you are not into western movies, this movie is an exception. A modern day version, which I find very exceptional. This movie can be seen by all ages, it is not rated and lasts one hour and thirty-three minutes long.
