That book helped me a big time!

The author, Gavin De Becker, did a terrific job with that book! I can imagine how hard work he collected all the facts and information.

Before I purchased this book. I used to worry so much about admit my daughter to the school or hire a babysitter due to media that talked alot of horrible news toward the children by the predators of our society.

I taught my daughter about confront the strangers and stuffs. When I read this book, it gave me alot of confidence that I did the right job to teach, but there are some insight information such as if a child lost and look for a policeman. This book has a very good point that how OFTEN will we see the policemen in uniforms at the grocery store or parking lot? I never thought of it. So I learned & taught my daughter to look for a woman with a child(ren) to tag if she's lost... We played the game, "what ifs" when we go to the places to see how she would select the women if she's lost.

After I read this book, I hunted around the schools to decide which one is suitable for my daughter to attend. I found one that I felt much more comfortable with to put my daughter in a good environment school.
