Frank Peretti - Prophet

The Prophet is an excellent book, although the story touches on the very controversial subject of abortion. As in some of his other works, Peretti's books are very easy to read and to understand. You are not lost in the plots and sub-plots. He keeps you interested as the story unravels. The Prophet is written in a slightly different format than This Present Darkness/Piercing the Darkness and The Oath. The emphasis in this book is more on personal relationships with Christ.

In this particular book, the characters must decide on what is most important in life. For the main character, he must choose between the importance of appearance or truth. He must do much soul-searching in order to find the answers to his questions about faith and God.

All of Peretti's books have been excellent, and this one is no exception. I would highly recommend reading it.
