These speakers truly pack bang for the buck. We recently moved to the US from outside the country and have all of our things including thousands of dollars of professional grade Sony audio visual equipment in storage in another country. Shipping things here is a huge headache expense and time consumer. Before moving our stuff to our new place we were radio less, we needed speakers. We only buy high-end audio visual equipment due to the fact that my husband is in the visual effects industry and we were not ready to spend a lot of money on something we already had. Luckily we visited one of our very cheap friends who had found the Klipsch THX Promedia 2.1 speakers at best buy for under $150. They were amazing, hardly any distortion on full volume. We were immediately sold. We bought them straight away and I even assembled them myself, it was so easy. We now blare our music and listen to these very high quality speakers. I swear they are nearly as good as our professional grade Sony ones that we still have in storage. Only drawback to them, the prices vary, so do your comparative shopping before you buy. Also, all the cords everywhere drive me crazy. I wish they were wireless Other than that, I would never consider buying speakers again without considering Klipsch!
