Princess Mononoke

The Bottom Line: Personally I would highly recommend seeing this film.
When I first heard about Princess Mononoke I was skeptical about watching it. Personally I was not interested in a story that has a worrier defend a forest and its inhabitants from his own kind. Then I was told that it was a masterpiece and I didn't know what I was missing.
Finally when I was in my local movie rental site I saw the cover and figured "What the heck I'll take it". After watching only the beginning my frame of mind shifted from extreme boredom to the complete opposite. I couldn't turn my head for a second throughout the rest of the film. I was in awe.
Once the movie ended, I quickly cooked and ate dinner and then found myself in front of my television screen watching it all over again.
