You can arrange marriage, but you can't arrange love!

Anne Hathaway returns as Princess Mia. She did not leave any of the fun behind. Some say sequels are always worse than the first movies. This is not the case with The Princess Diaries. This movie is done in the same comedic fairy-tail style of the first one. Great acting, great writing, great story line! You'll laugh, you'll cry and feel good by the end of this family movie!
In "The Princess Diaries 2" Mia is in Genovia and ready to be crowned Queen except for one thing-- according to Genovian law the Queen has to be married! So Mia has to get married. Fast or she and her family will no longer be able to rule Genovia. Because of this dilemma Mia agrees to enter into an arranged marriage so she will not lose the throne. While the villain, (John Rhys-Davies) tries by devious means to get the crown for his nephew, Mia maybe falling in love with someone who is not her betrothed. After a scandal erupts because of her new found feelings Mia has to find a way to save the throne without losing her true love.
There is a special appearance by Raven when she sings a duet with Julie Andrews.
