Prince of Persia 3D easily could have been a terrific sequel to the popular series. The game has a Tomb Raider-ish look and feel and is sufficiently challenging. However, the game is so filled with bugs that all the joy of playing the game is lost. I have found myself trapped in rooms that in which there is no way to get out. I have fallen and got stuck in the floor. You can see through walls if you position yourself correctly. This list goes on and on and on.
The game itself is annoying as you die immediately from most traps. You don't have a chance to recover as you do in Tomb Raider. Further, the save features do not work well and I often lose my saved game.
The game runs smoothly on my Pentium III 300. The recommended configurations for the game are as follows:
