Pretty Woman--Another of My All Time Favorite Movies

Yes, it's me again with another lame attempt at a movie review, but I can't help it. Pretty Woman is another of my all time favorite movies as I state in my title.

I had already watched Pretty Woman countless times before owning it on video. It was given to me as part of a sweepstakes entry for a contest that I was holding.

It's the story of Vivian(played by Julia Roberts) and Edward Lewis(played by Richard Gere..oh la la!). Vivian is a prostitute trying to make ends meet. Edward is a very successful businessman who just isn't quite satisfied with his life.

One night after a party Edward borrows his friend sports car and heads on a drive. He gets lost in the wrong part of town. He stops to ask directions and Vivian gets in the car telling him that for $20 she will show him any place that he likes.

They arrive at his hotel and she heads to the bus stop to go back home. He looks at her and knows that he can't let her go. He asks her how much it would cost for her to spend the night with him. That one night turns into a week. The week turns into a lifetime at the end.

I'm back to not wanting to tell too much of what goes on in the movie, just in case someone reading this hasn't watched it.

Just know that it's a very heart warming story of love. Edward teaches Vivian about the finer things in life and how to be a "lady". Vivian teaches Edward that love can be the best investment that he will ever make.
