Pros: Quick, loud whistle
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: I love my kettle. It makes quick and easy work of hot beverages.
Review: I received this as a gift from my mother. She has one, too. I am the kind of person who likes hot cocoa and other hot drinks, but HATES to put the water in the microwave...I can't ever seem to get it to the right temperature. Presto kettle to the...

Pros: It's a quick and easy way to boil water with no cleanup necessary
Cons: There is no automatic shutoff when the water starts to boil
Review: We got the kettle as a gift, so I do not know how much it cost. I would estimate that it probably costs about $10.

Pros: Does have a great whistle as a reminder.
Cons: Gets hot on the outside.
The Bottom Line: This is a good little pot for reminding you that the water is boiling if you don't already have one with a whistle.
Review: I am one of those people that like hot cocoa, instant cappuccino and hot tea in the winter but hated having to use the microwave for heating the water.
When using the microwave I found that I could never get the cocoa or cappuccino to... |

Pros: Works well.
Cons: Short life.
Review: My second Presto kettle in under 3 years just burned out, and I replaced it with Cuisinart. The Cuisinart cost $69, and based on a friend's experience, will be cheaper in the long run than the Presto at $20. On the other hand, as a first tea kettle, ...
