A PopcornAholic Speaks...

Date of Review:  Jun 19, 2001
The Bottom Line: If you make popcorn frequently the Presto PopLite Popcorn Popper 4820 is surely worth buying.
Review: My name is Shyra2 and I am... A PopcornAholic. However, I can NOT stand movie theater popcorn due to the massive amounts of butter they pack on, which is loaded with calories. I like naturally popped popcorn with no butter and no salt. Yes... I know...

HOT AIR IN MY OWN WORDS

Date of Review:  Dec 26, 2000
Review: To say that I use hot air is an understatement. I use hot air in my hair dryer, my clothes dryer, my oven exhausts the furnace and many excessive words thrown in. The one hot air appliance that is used during the holiday season and when my...

Healthy popcorn in minutes

Date of Review:  Mar 16, 2001
The Bottom Line: Easy and quick way to make popcorn - cheaper than microwave popcorn.
Review: Anybody can operate this thing - put the popcorn in, plug it in, then catch the popcorn in a bowl. For buttered popcorn, put some butter in the tray above the spout. What could be easier?

The popcorn made by the Presto PopLite Popcorn...

Presto PopLite -- Popcorn has never tasted this bad before.

Date of Review:  Sep 8, 2001
The Bottom Line: This is a good idea, but I don't like plain air popped popcorn one bit.
Review: Picture the big bucket of popcorn at the theater with extra butter and lots of salt. You can probably smell that fresh popcorn and hear the ping, ping, ping of the kernels flying around in the glass popcorn house.

I hate to break this to...

"Anyone want some popcorn?"

Date of Review:  Apr 17, 2000
Review: That's possibly the most common phrase in my house. Between my roommate and myself, we often find ourselves with a house full of friends, be it the monthly poker game, a gaming session, or just movie night with our girlfriends, popcorn is always the...

Abracadabra, Presto

Date of Review:  Feb 28, 2008
The Bottom Line: Out of what is on the market for air poppers, this is a decent machine.
Review: Background:: After a couple years of stomach related problems, I sought the advice of a nutritionist. She told me to cut processed foods out of my diet. One change involved giving up microwavable popcorn.

Instead, my hubby and I learned to...

The Worst Kitchen Gadget My Husband Has Purchased Yet

Date of Review:  Jan 4, 2009
The Bottom Line: I just can not find anything I really like about this popcorn popper.
Review: All of my family members insist on having popcorn when we watch a movie. I had grown up with popcorn being made on the stove in a special pot with a little oil and my husband grew up on microwave popcorn. I can not stand microwave popcorn and my...

It's Not Rocket Science

Date of Review:  Nov 27, 2006
The Bottom Line: With a few tricks to proper use, this little machine will save you money, time and calories.
Review: When used to the best of its ability and filled with quality kernels, this popcorn maker will create a very inexpensive no-fat crunchy treat.

What's the secret to using it successfully? There are only a few:

1. Using the included...

Worth Its Salt!

Date of Review:  Oct 18, 2000
Review: You know a popcorn popper is good when you buy it already pretty "well seasoned" at a garage sale and years later it's still popping along! I bought our Presto Popper, then called a "PopCornNowPlus" for $1 at a yard sale when my second child was a...

Presto 04820 PopLite Popcorn Maker

Date of Review:  Sep 7, 2009
The Bottom Line:

While it doesn't pop every kernel, the Presto PopLite Popcorn Maker is still a decent popper and the end result is a bowl of light, fluffy popcorn.

Review: My daughter likes popcorn more than I do, and it's one of her favorite snacks. I buy the microwaveable popcorn packs (especially the smaller snack bags) because she likes to take it to pop at school during her snack time, but I don't really care for...
