Author's Review
The Frydaddy, as my fans know, is a product that I absolutely adore. I'd never imagined the gourmet meals and treats that I could make with it until I stumbled onto it in Sears. And now, a friend of mine recently bought the Granpappy, and it's (believe it or not) even better, in that it's even bigger. Now you can fry everything that you can in the FryDaddy (to hear some suggestions, read my review of it) PLUS you can fry larger things. Instead of small pieces of fried dough, you can now make it just like you can buy it at fairs! And while meals like chicken crispers used to take 2 or even 3 loads if prepared for a whole family, they can now be done in one! And it's certainly easier to fry a whole chicken to perfection with the Granpappy. Adventurous people can even try a holiday turkey, fried! My friend who bought the Granpappy says you can fry over a dozen eggs at once! No more waiting around! Sorry if I sound like an advertisement here, but I'm just kind of excited about this product. Really, it's wonderful. It's easy to use, and easy to clean, simply wash it out - no scrubbing. So, if you're getting a frier, you can get even more for your money here with the Granpappy than with the fabulous Frydaddy. Now you can fry a whole ham! Seriously, it's damn good. And if you don't like plain bread, try frying up a loaf! I'll bet your family will go right through it that way! Just don't leave it unattended around your cat, I would advise.
