Great, great GranPappy needed!

Even though the Presto GranPappy 5410 is the largest model in the "fry..." line, it still is not big enough for a family of six. We just need something bigger when we do a deep-fried meal.

That is my only complaint about this fryer!

The fryer comes with a plastic lid that can be put on top (after the grease is cooled) to keep the grease fresh for another use. This is a big plus - grease is not cheap and I don't like throwing it away after just one quick use.

The temperature control on the Presto GranPappy 5410 keeps the grease at an even temperature. This means that your food cooks better and there is less chance of burning it.

This fryer is excellent for a "quick snack" fixer. Just plug it in, wait a few minutes for the grease to heat up, then drop in your fries or chicken strips. They cook in minutes. Unplug the fryer and when the grease is cool put the lid on it.

***Be sure to change the grease on a regular basis. Also make sure that the inside of the fryer is cleaned very well with hot, soapy water. ***
