I'D rather be FRIED than CLEAN this DADDY!

The Bottom Line: It's UNSANITARY unless you go out of your way to clean it every 5-6 uses. Oil buildsup in crevices and it's almost impossible to clean. More hassle than it's worth.

Not-so-cool, daddy

The Bottom Line: If you don't mind high-maintenance frying (a few items at a time, fishing them out with a spoon) this item works fine. Don't buy this for its extra features.
Review: I have not used other fryers before, so I don't have too much to compare this one to. I received this one as a gift and have been using it very often in spite of what I see as some pretty major design flaws.
