Practical Magic

Practical Magic is a fun comedy that pulls on your heartstrings. I liked Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullocks characters. The two are sisters that were brought up in a household of magic that they learned from their aunts. The two sisters grow up and go their own ways. One goes off to be a party girl and the other stays in town. When Nicole Kidman, the party girl, comes home, her lover follows her. He is a troublemaker and they end up killing him by accident. But his spirit comes back to harm Nicole Kidman and the sisters then must come up with a way to make him go back. There is also a detective who shows up and gets in the way of the sisters. The sisters are trying to do magic and they have to get the townspeople to help them get rid of the bad spirit. Even the women who make fun of them behind their backs.

The movie is funny and I really like the way they made a movie filled with magic but not evil. Anyone who likes a fun movie to watch, this is the perfect movie.
