The Bottom Line: Great 1st, tough, camera loaded with features and easy to learn and use, though might be too small (was for me), test it out first!

Upgrade of best camera

The Bottom Line: Fits in pocket, awesome pictures, point/shoot ease, fun movie pictures, charging battery ease.
Review: I just received my Canon SD500 just 2 weeks ago. The quality of the SD300 should be comparable to this camera (except mine is somewhat higher priced). It looks comparable from your specs.

A great family camera

The Bottom Line: Buy it if you don't mind spending extra money on a second backup battery. Response time is fast enough you won't miss a picture and it takes great photographs.
