Porno for pyros, good stuff

After reading the review on here, i just had to write one myself. While nothing can ever compare to the genuis of Jane's addiction, i think that this Porno cd, is a pretty good one. It still has the funky beats and of course Perry's amazing voice. In contrast to the other review i think that while his some of his lyrics may seem childsih, they have amazing points. For example the song PETS. "Children are innocent, a teenager's f**cked up in the head, Adults are even more F**cked up, and ederlies are more like children, will there be another race to come over an take over for us, maybe martians could do better than we have done".
I mean look at all we have done to this planet, and i think this song points at all the damage, in only a way that Perry could. While i agree that nothing can ever replace Jane's i think that if we cant have Jane's Addiction around, Porno for pyros will have to do. There is nothing better than the voice of Perry and the beats of ex-Jane's drummer, Stephen Perkins. I personally bought this cd in 1993 when it came out, and i did pay full price for it. i am glad that i did, i think its a good cd and it has given me many years of listening pleasure.
The instuments, the beats, the lyrics, the voice are all amazing to me. Its a bit on the funky side but what do you expect from Perry. My favorite on this cd, is a song called Blood Rag. It has some intense drum beats and just makes you wanna groove. So if you haven't given this Cd a chance yet, please do...
