Popular Science is one of the best technology magazines I've found. It is just so thorough. It is also one of the cheapest sources of information you can buy. Here are some of the things I like about it:
Feature Articles:
Their features are always something new, exciting, and interesting, and to me the interesting aspects are always the most important part. Why would I want to read something that doesn't interest me? It's not just computer stuff, either. It's science. Computers, yes, but also rockets, cars, calculators, telephones, molecules, the human body, everything. And it's something totally different each month.
New Stuff:
This is my favorite section! The "What's New" section has pictures and little blurbs on about 20-25 new things going on in the science world. It's a very diverse selection, everything from the newest cars to breakthroughs in the medical field.
It's not easy to find a magazine that's as variety-oriented as Popular Science, but still covering the field you're interested in. PCWorld is great if you're into computers, Popular Mechanics if you love cars. But Popular Science covers so much, cover to cover, that it's hard not to find at least one thing you're interested in. I would highly recommend this magazine to anyone who reads computer or electronics magazines, or anyone who wants to stay one step ahead in the technology industry. It's easy to read, too; parents, why not get a subscription for your teen? You can check out their site also at http://www.popsci.com.
