The Vibe, From Pontiac! What A Groovy Car Baby!

Date of Review:  Aug 7, 2005
The Bottom Line: Great Styling, Great Gas Mileage And Super Fun To Drive!
Review: INTRO

While on a recent business trip to Phoenix, AZ I had a rental car from Enterprise and I was very excited when they told me it would be a 2005 Pontiac Vibe. These vehicles had interested me since their release back in 2003 and now i...

Prefer the Vibe over the Matrix

Date of Review:  Jun 20, 2005
The Bottom Line: Great choice if you need a spacious, flexible family car but don't want an expensive SUV.
Review: I checked out both Toyota Matrix and the Vibe and finally decided on the Vibe. They are the same under the hood (same engine as a Corolla), and different by body style and packaging.
Things that attracted me are the roof rack, standard fog...

2005 Pontiac Vibe

Date of Review:  May 26, 2008
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car because of the price, gas mileage and all the folding seats make it easy to haul things.
Review: I bought this car brand new in '05 and have been driving it daily. I'm up to 64000 miles. I drove a mini-van for 8 years and downsized to the Vibe. I am very happy with the performance and handling of the car. It is easy to drive and park. There are...

it's worth it

Date of Review:  Dec 30, 2005
The Bottom Line: if you want a 4 cylinder car buy this one. roomy, practical, well engineered, good mileage, and kind of sporty looking.
Review: i read the other reviews on this car and they seem planted by pontiac, they're so positive....and indeed the car is great. but i thought i'd write to highlight a few of the drawbacks, just so you get a fair and balanced opinion. i too first saw the...

Zippy little car

Date of Review:  Aug 3, 2005
The Bottom Line: Great car for zipping around in with friends - good gas mileage.
Review: I just got a 2005 Vibe about 3 weeks ago and have fallen in love! Its a sporty little car with pretty good gas mileage, something that is needed in this day and age. I love the chrome dash that lights up Extremely well at night, its very bright...

Almost impressed

Date of Review:  Apr 11, 2007
The Bottom Line: This is a great car if you live in a city. If you live in the country I would consider something better in the winter.
Review: I bought my Vibe in July of 2006 and through the summer it was fun, a little sporty and has decent power on dry ground.
I recommend renting this car from Enterprise prior to buying one and test it out before you buy it.
I am very happy...

Pontiac Vibe simple but impressive

Date of Review:  Oct 28, 2005
The Bottom Line: Buy this car if you have two kids or even three. It feels high like an SUV but safe.
Review: My wife and I were searching for a new car that would offer space for when we have kids, but still get great gas mileage for those long trips to see the in-laws. I also have lower back pain and many times after a 2.5 hour or 6 hour drive my back...

Many problems but at least Pontiac is fixing them

Date of Review:  Oct 11, 2007
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this car due to the number of problems it has had. I would buy another car from Curry Buick Pontiac in Bloomington, IN.
Review: My wife is the main driver of this Vibe GT and she really likes how the car handles, stops and she says it is easy to park. The power and acceleration are not really felt until the engine is spun up to at least 6,500 rpms (8,200 redline). This is...

Pontiac Vibe 2005 excellent car

Date of Review:  Nov 20, 2008
Review: Great car, best car GM is making.  Lots of room and very practical.  I bought this car August 2008 and it had 86000 km.  Car is dark grey and has air conditioning-automatic tranny.  The car has good fuel economy and feels very solid.  Suspension is...

Good Car

Date of Review:  Mar 28, 2008
Review: I have had my Vibe for three years and never had any engine issues. Great gas mileage too especially with the gas prices going up. I also love the cargo space. I can transport large items by folding the two seats down. I also like how you can turn...
