2004 Grand Prix. I am very surprised how good this car is.

You have to drive one of these to appreciate them.
I never knew how good these 2004 and up Grand Prix's are. First of all let me tell you I am coming from great experiences from (2) Pontiac Firebirds both reaching near 300,000 miles before selling, a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville that I absolutely love and currently has 141,000 miles, a BMW 7 series that was more in the shop then on the road.
Well this 2004 Grand Prix has got to be the most solid driving car I ever driven. There is something special about the steering feel of a larger FWD car like the Grand Prix that a rear wheel drive car can never compare to. The steering just feels so tight, yet the car is silk smooth over bumps. Very sporty handling and yet a family car. This car appears small on the road but it is not a small car, it has small car styling, which is ok because it is on the sporty side.
The interior has plenty of room, and what I like is a lot of head room. The trunk is huge, and the rear seats fold down for even more storage. This is a great convenience.
The engine is super quiet at idle, yet push the accelerator pedal and you hear the great throaty sounding dual exhaust. A really great driving experience. Being a FWD and having traction control and ABS it is a great all weather driving car. It also gets great MPG, rated at 30 MPG hwy.
I like some cars to have real names like the Grand Prix. They don't all have to be called G this or G that. I also prefer FWD over RWD in driving feel and all weather driving. Living in Michigan I will never buy a RWD.
I would suggest buying this car.
