Product Review

So far, so good

by   samaroopants ,   Oct 26, 2007

Pros:  acceleration, stereo, comfort, price, gas mileage, reliability

Cons:  only it's outward appearance -- think it's kind of ugly

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

Having owned unreliable Pontiacs in the past, I was hesitant to buy this one. The price was right, and with all my other Pontiacs, I was sold on the acceleration and great stereo. I am an impulse buyer. I get in, crank up the great sounding stereo, stomp on the gas and say to myself "it's mine whether it's reliable or not." Of course, three Grand Am's and thousands of dollars in repairs kind of soured me on Pontiac. I decided to give the Grand Prix a shot though. Three and one-half years later I am pleased to say the reliability is that of a Toyota. I am glad I gave this Pontiac a chance. The mileage is approximately 84,000. So far no problems with it. I have the GT1. Price could not be beat.
