by   shoppinsmart ,  Jul 27, 2002
Pros: Awesome Ride, Lot's of Room, Great Gas Mileage...Just a Great Minivan!!
Cons: NONE!!!
The Bottom Line: Buy this van! We had an Excursion, a '96 4-Runner, '97 Blazer, '95 Aurora,& a '94 Vette. Nothing comes close to this van as a functional and fun family "car!"
Review: We bought our Montana with 9K miles on it. It's a 2001 with gray leather seats. I have to say that this is our very first minivan, and that back in the day, we swore up and down that we'd never be caught dead in one! Ha!

We were SUV...

Review: I have been driving demo's for my dad's dealership for years, and they have mainly been SUVs. Since I have a baby, he recently put me in one of the Montanas, and before I saw it, I was not happy about having to drive a minivan. I am not a minivan fan...

Pros: OnStar, smooth driving, auto lights and traction
Cons: Very little leg room.

A solid minivan that's enjoyable to own.

by   rdwarrior ,  Dec 10, 2001
Pros: Smooth ride, quiet for a minivan, good acceleration
Cons: minor interior fit & finish problems.
The Bottom Line: A good minivan made a "best buy" by the great purchase/lease incentives Gm offers.

A Shark in the Trunk !

by   RockyBug ,  May 11, 2001
Pros: Very roomy, comfortable ride, neat little extras.
Cons: None to speak of.
The Bottom Line: We were able to fit in all the collected "stuff" from a college student's room and still have left over space. Comfortable ride and good mileage.
Review: Mrs. RockyBug and I flew to Orlando to retrieve BugChild from her first year of college. We had reserved a mini-van from Alamo and it turned out to be a brand new Pontiac Montana. The van only had 2 miles on it when we picked it up at the Alamo lot....
