Author's Review

A few years back I was in search of a used car to buy. I seen this stylish Pontiac Grand Am sitting along side the road. I decided to stop and check it out. I really didn't know much about cars, and my husband wasn't with me. but I stoped anyway. I ended up buying the car for $1000.00.

This Grand Am was red with silver on the bottom. It has a kind of sporty look to it. It has a sun roof that I loved and so do my children, it has a rack on the back of the hood. Inside it has grey seats not vinyle. It had a sterio cassett player as well. For a older car I really got a great deal.

It would only take me 15 to fill this cars gas tank up. And it is great on gas. I could travel for a week around town on this and not have to worry about being on empty. The engine is a 2.5 4 cylinder automatic. It has power stearing and power brakes. I have had no trouble with it yet and believe it or not it has over 215 thousand miles on it. Original miles as well. I say this car has out stood time. The body on this car is great and sturdy, its been a few years now since I have bought it so yes there is getting some rust spots.

This Grand Am is a 2 door, and bucket seats up front with your colume in the middle and your emergencey brake in the middle. You can fit 3 people in the back

The only thing I have ever really had to do to this car was, change oil and buy spark plugs and the normal things that go wrong with any type of car. It is due time now for me to get a new one this one is getting a little over the hill. But when I go out to look for another car I think I'm going to stick with the Pontiac Grand Am. Maybe get the 2000 Grand Am this year.
