Author's Review

The best $1000.00 we ever spent. In 1997 we bought a used 1987 Pontiac Bonneville which had all the bells and whistles of it's time. It already had over 100,000 miles on it and was on it's second motor. TWICE it took us faithfully and safely from PA to FL... that's 2200 miles per trip. The car just flowed along beautifully and it's very roomy. We always ahd two car seats in the back. We never had to put a lot of money into it, just brakes, tires, water pump, etc. We thought that was great! Think of what the price would've been for a family of four to fly the distance we went two times in 12 months. This is the car that really turned us on to power locks and windows. WOW, what were we missing. We would definately consider purchasing another Bonneville in the future. Oh, our poor car died in the fall though, but with an amazing 247,000 miles on it. We still have it and just may replace the motor again.
