Just okay...
Date of Review: Dec 30, 2006
The Bottom Line: It's just okay-- I regret not shopping around more.
I wish I would have spent an extra $50 and bought something nicer. I wanted a small, easy to use camera to carry around in my purse that took fairly good quality photos. I'm disappointed with the picture quality on this camera. Indoor pictures turn out okay, and outdoor pictures turn out pretty good depending on the lighting. If it's too bright outside, pictures have a washed-out look to them. It's also very slow processing the pictures, which prevents you from taking several shots right after the other (kind of a pain). Otherwise, everything else is okay. It's easy to use and I like the 2" screen. It would be a good camera for a teenager or older child. I mainly bought this camera for the price, despite it's low customer satisfaction rating. I spent less than $100 for the camera and a 512mb memory chip was included. I would take this camera back if possible but there is only a 14-day return policy. A year ago I bought a Sony Cyber-Shot for someone as a Christmas gift for about $165.00. It's a much, much nicer camera than this. I would recommend paying a little bit more and getting a lower-end camera made by one of the higher-end manufacturers such as Sony or Canon.
