Not THAT bad
Date of Review: Mar 28, 2007
The Bottom Line: If you are a beginner or just looking for something basic, I would recommend this camera. It takes descent pictures and you can always edit the picture to your liking.
From reading the reviews, it seems that I am the only one that has had any luck with this camera. Now I'm not going to say this is the best digital camera. I find that it meets basic needs for those wanting something a little more high-tech then disposable cameras.
I, too, had problems with the battery life - That was due to the fact that I was not using more durable batteries. If you use batteries that are made for digital cameras, I can assure you, the battery life is improved. Using the flash for EVERY picture does drain the batteries, but I'm sure it would on many cameras.
Now, I do have to say that if you are taking close-up pictures and you use the flash, the object in the picture will appear to be very light/white (if the object is a person), but when I took pictures of objects further away, the pictures came out just fine.
The features are fairly basic and you could probably figure out the operation of the camera quite easily.
I've never had problems with uploading pictures from the cam to any PC or any problems with it period and I have had this camera for 2 months or so.
