GREAT unit, very versatile, cleans well
Pros:
cleans your pool--period. Easy to use.
Cons:
somewhat costly, but worth it. MUST be installed by pro--NOT do it yourself, sorry Polaris.
The Bottom Line:
If you take great pride in your pool, want the best and don't mind paying for it--buy this one.

Author's Review
We've had this unit for about a year and I would highly recommend it.
Our pool: we have a gunite irregular pool with a raised spa in North Texas. It is a fairly large pool, with approximately 31,000 gallons and has a depth of three feet to ten feet.
Installation: this is NOT a do it yourself installation. Their marketing materials say that this is the case, despite the fact that I really like this cleaner, I honestly believe that this fact is just not true. You need to hire someone (and pay them) if you want this unit. Having said this, I paid approximately $1800 for installation and the unit. This unit has a separate booster pump that adds to the cost, but since it can clean our entire pool in three hours it is worth it.
Operation: the unit has several types of bags. It comes with the universal bag which works for most applications. You will also probably want to buy the leaf bag (we are using this now here in Texas) as well as the silt bag which is great in the summer for picking up every little bit of sand and keeps the pool perfectly clean.
The unit also has a timer (or at least ours does) which we run for three hours per day. When you want to swim, you simply take the unit out of the pool and set it on the deck or in the pool box. Otherwise, you leave the unit in the pool 24x7.
