My first heart rate monitor

Pros: Great HRM and features for the price. Easy to see your target heart rate.

Cons: Would like to see solar power added to help extend the batter life.

I purchased the Polar F6 because the price and features were just right. I have been using the Polar F6 for about 2 weeks now and I am enjoying it.
Navigating the watch features is easy to do as well as using the HRM. I have used the Polar F6 at the gym and the cardio equipment does read my heart rate. I did notice that the cardio machine and my watch were not the same, but it was only off by 1 beat per minute. No one else was wearing a HRM near me so I have no idea if their HRM would affect my cardio machine monitoring sensor. The Polar F6 is encrypted so that you will not receive any interference with other HRM.
If you register you can download the Polar software and you can upload your saved exercise to their web site. It's a small program and all you need is a microphone and sound card. It's easy to do, the watch will emit a sound, which sounds like a dial up modem, and the software will do the rest.
