Come watch Pikachu in theater!

"Who am I?", "How was I created?", "Why did they create me?". These are just some of the things the mysterious genetically bred pokemon Mewtwo is thinking. In rage when he learns that he was created to serve humans, he escapes from his laboratory and goes off to hold a pokemon contest. A pokemon contest to steal the pokemon away from the greatest pokemon trainers from around the world.

Okay, I'll admit it, I enjoy watching Pokemon on TV when I have absolutely nothing else to do. Sure it isn't the greatest thing around but it sure is better than the epsidoes broadcast on TV. While the first Pokemon movie sucked apples, I enjoyed this movie. Mainly because it was a lot like the series and was aimed it all audiences.

This Pokemon movie actually had story. It also had action! Two things the first movie REALLY lacked. The story had likeable characters and I was rooting for good old Ash and his pokemon as they along with other pokemon fought against Mewtwo's pokemon army. There were no slow points in the movie.

Since this was a movie, the animation was a little better than the TV show. Action sequences were nice. Also, it was nice to see Pikachu's thunder shocks without the still frames. I don't see how anyone thinks you can get a seizure from this. Only one episode in the entire series gave someone seizures. I found myself really enjoying the music and wanting to turn it up.

While if you aren't a Pokemon fan this probably won't change your mind even though it does have a slightly darker atmosphere than the TV series. If you are a fan though you'll fall in love with this movie
