Gotta Catch'em All

For those who have given this movie a negative review, keep in mind that if you are aged past 12 years, this movie was not intended for you to like to begin with. I do not have much choice in the matter of watching or not watching Pokémon. I have a 6-year-old son. The decision is made. We watch this show religiously and ever since the Easter Bunny brought Ryan this movie, we have watched it on a daily basis.

The story-line is intended for people who do not have much of a concept of following a story-line. I am not going to say that I dislike the movie, although I have grown weary of watching it. I enjoyed the movie because it is something that my son enjoys.

This movie is not intended to win any Oscars. It is a movie for children and unless you can review it from the point of view of an adolescent, your review is not going to be overly positive. Interview your little one and post their comments here, I think you would see quite a difference. Granted there are going to be children who do not like this movie.

Go easy on these types of movies. It is actually refreshing to see movies that are intended for small children to enjoy. So many cartoon shows and movies that are seemingly geared towards little ones, have disturbing amounts of violence and even sexual innuendos. I like the movie and the music grows on you. Pika Pika.
