Author's Review
Pocket Fighter is just one of those games, you can have a good time with forever. With a great line-up from various other Capcom games, all presented in SD, how could you go wrong?
Let me just tell you, this game is great. If you loved Puzzle Fighter, but wanted to try it out with a real fighting game, here's your chance. The combos in this game are pretty easy to do, but the catch is, they are costume changing combos. When you combo up on someone, they change costume to do various entertaining attacks.
The premise is to beat up your opponent, and power up your special moves with little power gems to make your little chibi buttocks more lethal. Some of these moves are hilarious. Nothing better than a Raging Demon via Dan's father. Or how about Ibuki, slicing you up into nice little cubes samurai style? There's also a make your own character type system, where you can equip items won from various opponents, to add distinctive battle characteristics to whomever your character may be. All of this, tied together with great Capcom art, and a cheerful game all together, make this one a winner. Then again, I'm a sucker for Capcom!
