PNI Sensoro Traveller II - No Strings... Err... Cords Attached

by   soupcraze ,  Jan 17, 2004
Pros: Cordless, Price is adequate, Voice-alerts, Bilingual, Good display
Cons: Cordless
The Bottom Line: For a cordless, the PNI Sensoro Traveller II is good since it offers performance and features at a good price.
Review: After hearing many mixed reviews about the PNI Sensoro Traveller II, I decided to give it a spin. The PNI Sensoro Traveller II is a cordless radar detector, which means that it runs on AA batteries. I personally would never own a cordless ...

by   bfasnacht ,  May 4, 2004
Pros: dependable, affordable, accurate
Cons: I haven't found anything wrong with this detector
The Bottom Line: My final recommendation is if you are looking for a dependable well working radar detector consider getting the Traveller II.
Review: First off, I would like to say that PNI Corp. was very helpful in giving me information to help me write an accurate review with correct information. I have had the Traveller II for quite some time now and overall I am very impressed in not ...

Better than a Passport 8500

by   jdfsau ,  Jun 16, 2005
Pros: Very inexpensive. Cordless. Great sensitivity. Has built in earphone jack.
Cons: Raised on/off button accidentially turns off if used in when in motorcycle tank bag.
Review: I wasn't expecting much when I bought this from my local discount store. Was I surprised when I found that it was more sensitive and had fewer false signals than my Passport 8500. This was to be the best bargain in radar detectors. Watch out though. ...

PNI Sensoro- If only it could detect bad drivers...

by   shoplmart ,  Oct 18, 2003
Pros: Price, Effectiveness, Convenience.
Cons: Obtrusive alerts.
The Bottom Line: An excellent radar detector at a great price.
Review: I purchased my cordless Pni Sensoro Traveller due to one main factor; impulse. Since I already own a Beltronics 985 and an Escort Passport 8500 I didn't exactly need another radar detector, however my excellent experience with Pni Inc. ...

Save your money...

by   jolafson ,  Feb 2, 2004
Pros: Controls easy to use.
Cons: Reliability, operability.
The Bottom Line: Product is poorly designed and unreliable. Company customer support is equally poor.
Review: Save your money...in my opinion the PNI Traveller is worthless. I purchased my Traveller from Amazon in October and the first thing I noticed was that the low-battery alarm went off after only a couple hours of use. Using my superior analytical skills, ...
