Playtex Baby Standard Bottle Liners 140/8 Oz

After buying the Playtex system bottle gift sets for my son in October. I was certain that using both the bottles and liners were just what we needed for him. He was a bit gassy and cried very much. Mostly all day when he first came home from the hospital. It was sad to not be able to do any thing for him. But once we started using the Playtex liners the whole story changed.

All you do is place the liner into the open bottle. Then you put the formula in and screw on the cover. The liner is perfectly in place since it just sits on top before you put the cover on. Now you squeeze out the air. You do this by holding the bottle up right completely. Then you push up gently and watch as the air comes out the top of the nipple. Then once it reaches the top you have a ready to use bottle with no air. Keep in mind that if you put the bottle down air enters it again in case your trying to empty the bottle. This prevents it from spilling over and is no fault of the liner at all. It is normal in fact.

The Playtex bottle liners proved to work very well. No air bubbles can be seen. My son is never gassy to the point where it hurts him anymore, and he hardly even even burps after drinking his bottle since we have been using these liners along with the bottles. It is amazing the change we have seen. There can not be anything out there that comes close to comparing with these liners.

The liners are like little plastic bags with firm plastic rims. They are pre sterilized and safe to use. But you can always run water through them before you use them if it makes you feel more at ease to do so. Yet it is not some thing that you have to do in order to use them. They are all set and ready to go.

The box comes with 140 8ox liners. That is quite a few feedings! They are only $6.99- $7.99 depending on where you go. More often then not, I get them from Walgreens drug store right here in Rhode Island. They have them for $6.99 and it is much closer to my house then anywhere else.

You do not use the Playtex Baby Standard Bottle Liners over again once you have used them. You simply wait for the air to flow back in to the bottle, remove the liner, empty it out, run a little water in it and empty that, then toss it in the garbage. You don't have to rinse them first before you throw them away, but formula can stink if it sits in the garbage too long so that is the best way to do it that I have found.

The Playtex 8 oz bottle liners are in the box, and also inside of a bag in the box to keep them protected from dust or whatever may come by them. They are easy to use, and have worked great for us as I had said. Knowing that my son can eat with out being in pain has done me a world of good. I think they have made me feel more at ease than any thing else could have. I do very highly recommend the Playtex bottle liners to all. They would make a nice shower gift as well.
