The Bottom Line: I would not recommend purchasing this game. If you do want to give it a try, please rent first! Just not very exciting.
This game was recommended to me by a sales associate for young children ages 4+. So I bought it for my 4 year old son for $39.99
When he received this game along with Carnival Games for Christmas, he did not open it until a few days later.
Once my son opened the game, we played together. He enjoyed Wall Ball, Slot Car Racing and Paper Racers. He could not play Dodgeball, Tetherball or Kicks. He attempted those games only leading to frustration because he had a hard time hitting, picking up and throwing the balls.
My 9 year old daughter tried the game a handful of times with myself and her brother. She enjoyed the Dart Shootout and Wall Ball. She tried the other games, she either bored from them or found them too frustrating.
My son has played the game a handful of times as a single player. He really just likes to walk around and talk to the kids and collect the marbles. He plays the games that he is capable of doing. There are some games that are locked that he wants to play but cannot until he completes other games, which are too hard for him. He does like collecting stickers from the games he can play. My son does like choosing the available characters, specifically the boy wearing the headphones.
I've noticed that he has quickly tired of the game because there is only so much he can do. The simplicity of Paper Racers and Slot Car Racing has left him bored. We've had this game for over a month and it hasn't been played in 2-3 weeks.
Even playing with my son a few times, I have no interest in playing this game or the desire to encourage him to keep trying at it.
I wish I would of rented this game versus buying it. This will be a game I take to EB Games for a future trade in because it was a waste of money.
