One of the best novels I have ever encountered

I was able to read this book in a week. Although for some that may not be saying much, but I am a slow reader, and to read a novel in a period of a week means there was definitely something special about this book. What I found I enjoyed the most was how Haruf started with two completely different characters and their own separate storylines. Throughout the book, he slowly weaved the lives of these two characters into one inseparable story.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes stories that touch your soul. I read this book over a year ago, and I still remember the story like I had read it yesterday. It is the first book that I recommend to anyone who is looking for a good read.
