Pros: Great sound. Easy to set up. Great features. Front-stage surround. Great price.
Cons: can't think of any.
The Bottom Line: For under $300, you get a 5 disc changer that plays everything under the sun. And the sound is great.
Review: Note that this review is for the Pioneer HTD-540DV, which at the time of this writing is not a listed item here on Epinions. After several weeks of researching online and going to various stores, I zeroed in on the Pioneer HTD-540DV. It fits the bill ...

Pros: Power, 5 Disc Changer, Sound
Cons: Console Interaction, Number of inputs
The Bottom Line: Overall, I am very happy with this unit. In my estimation, the benefits outweigh the drawback and I'd easy recommend it to anyone looking to get a basic HomeTheaterSystem.
Review: For the Price, this is undoubtedly one of the best models out there...

Pros: Great sound and picture with a low price tag
Cons: Main unit is huge
The Bottom Line: Great system! If you care about looks more than quality, buy a Bose. If you want quality for a low price, buy this system!
Review: I had been researching HTIB systems for about 8 months. I did not have the cash for a high end component system, but was not willing to lower my quality standards to by one of those tiny plastic systems that look (and sound) like they were made by...

Pros: Great sound and picture; Cool design
Cons: Not enough speaker wire included. No universal remote code.
The Bottom Line: After owning this unit for 6 months, I couldn't be happier with my decision. I dare anyone to find a better system for the price.
Review: I have revised this review after revisiting what I wrote and using a few more features on the system.
I did a lot of research on line before choosing the HTD-510DV DVD. I wanted something that would last me until the next big thing in... |

Pros: Great sound, nice overall package for the price
Cons: Bulky main unit, small remote buttons
The Bottom Line: This is by far the best system for the money. Try to find another with 5 discs, Dolby 5.1, DTS, and great speakers for under $500. Nothing compares.
Review: The Pioneer HTD 510DV DVD Home Theater System is a great deal for those of you looking for an all in one home theater package.
I bought the unit as a Christmas present for myself as an upgrade from my old VCR and my old Pioneer home theater.... |

Pros: Great sound, Crispy pictures, Unbeatable Price.
Cons: Speaker wires should have been longer. Bulky design of the main unit.
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended. Great bang for the price
Review: I have had this Home Theater System for almost two years. I have watched countless movies on it. I should say this is a great system. It is ideal for small rooms like the apartment living room I have it in. I admit there are more serious Home Theater Syst ...

Pros: Price, 5 disk player, Sound quality, CD-RW read ability.
Cons: Wire length, size of main unit, no MP3 ability.
The Bottom Line: Price value and onboard components make this an easy choice to get.
Review: When I finally decided to purchase a complete DVD system, I took into account, price, decoders on system and overall video and sound quality. The Sony dv300s/600s/900s were all hard bargains to pass up at first but then I was shown this system and the...
