Above average DVD player

The Bottom Line: It seems like just yesturday it took $1000 to buy a high end VCR.  But today, thanks to the Pioneer 420V, top quality is now ultra cheap. 
Review: I bought the Pioneer DV-420V-K (not to be confused with the Pioneer DV-220V-K) as a replacement for a dead CD player connected to my main entertainment center.  The reader may be thinking: What?!
