Don't like hair all over? This is for you!

This is my first beard trimmer. I kept a very short beard over the winter, which is why I bought the trimmer. It was a little expensive at about $50 but it had a lot of features. The trimmer looks awesome. It's glossy black with some chrome accents and blue buttons.
It's simple to use, which is to be expected. There is a dial which has 9 settings to control the length of cut (from about .06" to .72" according to the manual). The turbo button is pretty neat. It will speed up the motor (it sounds like it's going twice as fast) and that will help cut better. I always use it. It also increases the vacuum. Yes there is a vacuum! And it actually works. I trimmed short hair and it collected probably 95% of the hair. Usually I have to wash out the sink, not this time. Plus it collects it in an easy to empty container.
Now to the bad... There really isn't much. I have cut myself once when I took off the blade guard (for close trim) but it was always in the same area (on a bump on my neck). It's really not a big deal at all if you go slow. Also there is a blue plastic piece that helps the vacuum collect the hair. It gets in the way of the blade so it's hard to make a significant cut. when I was cutting down some major hair I actually taped it down so it wouldn't get in the way of the blades.

Overall it's a great trimmer that is powerful, has a vacuum that keeps the sink clean, and looks great. It feels sturdy and I'm comfortable it will last a long time.
