Pros: Sound, though no better or worse than others.

Cons: That cord. ...that freaking cord!

The Bottom Line: There are other brands, very similar and close to the same price. Choose one of them. I was happy with Sony.

Phillips In-ear headphones - SHE9500

The sound is fine but the cord isn't a small issue, it's a HUGE issue.

I bought these because they appeared to be comparable to my last ones but I couldn't have been more wrong. I use them for listening to podcasts while out walking / running and doing housework.

Cord problem #1: The wires are coated with some sort of tacky plastic that grabs EVERYTHING. It'll drag on your shirt, your skin and pretty much get caught on anything else. I'm forever dealing with my earbuds being yanked out.

Cord problem #2: Related to problem #1, the cords tangle like you wouldn't believe. There's no shaking them out or sliding them back to right. You have to snake each earbud through every snarl to get them straight again.

Cord problem #3: There is a metal piece at the junction where the left and right cords meet. It's substantial enough that the weight will pop out your earbuds while running. You have to somehow secure it.

Cord problem #4: Halfway through the cord there is a coupling that provides every MORE weight to bounce around and pop out your earbuds.

Cord problem #5: The cord is SO long and they don't provide any sort of device to take up the slack so unless you rig up something on your own, again, you're forever losing your buds as it gets caught on everything.
