The Best Pair of Headphones I've Ever Owned
by

Pros: Very effective noise-cancelling, comfortable, convenient neck strap.
Cons: slightly expensive, bulky design.
The Bottom Line: Quite possibly the last headphones you'll ever need to buy. And if not, they're darned good anyway.
Review: I'm no headphone gourmet. I don't necessarily need surround sound, or some new technology that massages your ears or any of that. All I ever really look for is a pair that won't break after three weeks. As I've mentioned in past reviews: I am an ...

Perfect for airplane travel, protects your hearing from loud volume

Pros: effective noise reduction, solid and compact design, relatively low price
Cons: ear-bud might not fit every ear
Review: These earphones do a fantastic job of significantly reducing background noise (e.g., airplane engine hum) so that you can listen to music or a movie without turning the volume up as loud as you would need to without noise reduction. They are perfect for ...

Pros: Great sound, loud, great noise reduction and very comfy.
Cons: Mine developed an intermittent hum on one channel. Damn.
The Bottom Line: Buy it, try it. They are comy good listening
Review: sometimes I turn them on and one channel has a hum. I'm an electrical engineer, so I attempt a repair. The problem is not a wire, since no movement on the wires changes the result... possibly an intermittent solder connection or component. I opened the ...

Pros: braided cord, very comfortable, great sound, noise cancellation, neck strap
Cons: poor noise cancellation
Review: I will preface my whole review by saying these were given to me as a gift. The fact they were free make these very good headphones. Would I ever pay the $40-$50 at a store? No chance. They are very comfortable in the ear. Overwhelmingly that is the ...

Pros: Nice lanyard and neckstrap. Very comfortable in ear.
Cons: Could be better for noise-canceling. Cumbersome module.
Review: Very comfortable in ear. Noise-canceling module is small, but too high on the cord. It would be nice to be lower so as to tuck into a pants pocket for discrete wear. Rope-style cord is very nifty. Noise-canceling quality is good for a $50 unit. ...

Pros: inexpensive noise-cancellation earphones, noise-cancellation unit built into headphone wire
Cons: uncomfortable for smaller ears, hard to put on correctly, noise-cancellation effectiveness
The Bottom Line: As another reviewer put it,"you get what you pay for." This unit does do its job, but for a 24.99 value.
Review: I was browsing down the clearance isles at my local Target shopping center, where i noticed one of these headphone units were on clearance for 35 dollars from an orignal price of 49.99. A week later, I was browsing down the Electronics clearance shelf ...

Pros: Cheap, Cancels noise when music is running
Cons: Not a big fan of in the ear phones, no sound cancelling when musics off
Review: I was walking around Target and noticed these for $13. Picked them up because my last pair of behind the head phones is going. Little problem with getting them in the ear, but once in do pretty nicely. For $13 I wasnt expecting to much as for noice ...

Pros: Comfortable, different sized silicon ear pieces, nylon neck strap, long battery life, volume dial
Cons: Weight of the control unit, lackluster sound in normal use, average sound when power on
The Bottom Line: Easy to store, comfortable to wear, and better then foam ear plugs, average sound quality and not impressive sound cancellation. Good for bargain hunters
Review: I had a better pair of Philips ear buds for my Creative Zen which got caught in elevator door and were ruined. I liked the bass quality and sound of those so when I saw these I decided to try them out. After 3 months I have found they are acceptable, not ...

Pros: none
Cons: read above
Review: I own one of these, the silicon earplug is too loose and comes off too easily. This poses chocking hazard for kids - or like me you may end up having one of those stuck in your ear - causing excruciating pain during a 12 hour flight. ...
