Philips HTS-3555 Theater System

I was a bit hesitant at first to purchase this system but after I installed it I was impressed. The speakers are heavy duty. Not your typical plastic on plastic, the sound generated is also of high quality. The up-conversion DVD is out of this world, this system is worth every penny. It also has a jpeg/cd capability which is unreal on a 46" LCD TV. I purchased this system at bxxx bxx, and paid $180 for it, I am using the HDMI cable for the connection to the TV and would recommend using mycablemart.com for that purchase as well.
Overall I would say this system is better than I had expected. I really can not say a bad word about it, am/fm radio, i-pod dock, mp-3 player, up-conversion dvd, and one thing I did not mention is that you do not need speaker mounts to mount on walls. There are slots on the back of each speaker that will allow you to use a hollow wall anchor and a screw to hook the speaker flush to your wall and that is a savings of almost $80. I am impressed with this Philips System.
