These earbuds do not work at all. The rubber piece that fits snug in your ear will reduce some unwanted noise, but the noise cancelling circuit only creates a hissing noise and does nothing against the loud roar of a jet aircraft. Sound quality is on par with the price, what can you expect for something that was free with a DVD player. Bottom line, spend a little money and get something that actually does what it is labeled to do. I'll stick with Bose.
