Good affordable player

I bought this dvd player because I was told it would play my backed up copies of my dvd collection without problems. Aside from one DVD, it has read them all so far and the quality of the picture appears excellent. I can't comment on the lifespan of the dvd player since I've only had it for about six months or so, but I haven't seen any slowing down in read time, etc. which happened almost immediately after purchasing my last DVD player (a Zenith). I also play CDs on it almost every day and I have not had any problems its performance in regards to that. Most of the CDs I play are backed up copies of my collection and my last DVD player wouldn't play those for some reason. The only problem I've has is that since its purchase, the STOP lighting command reads STOE. That bothered me and since it had a warranty I considered returning it, but the process did not seem like it would have been worth it. Overall, I have been pleased with this DVD player's performance and the price cannot be beat. I bought mine at amazon.com for about thirty bucks I believe. Highly recommended!
